I suppose we shall have to do that as well. Work together. [ comes the clarification, as if it was necessary, as she looks down at the pile of firewood she has collected. if they all want to survive... they will have to keep working together. ]

[ clarke doesn't miss the implication behind that seeing as it was the reason she was feeling like there was a lot of deja vu about this situation for her in particular.

she smiles and just nods at that, following sansa's glance towards the firewood in her hands] Yeah, exactly— it would make it easier for all of us if we could manage that.

Were you out here just collecting more firewood?

Yes, [ she responds with a nod, glancing again at the kindling in her arms. ]

The fire was starting to die out. I thought... it was something to do. [ something that gave her the excuse to be useful while walking away on her own. ]

[clarke just gives a nod hearing that since she was out here for similar reasons] Sounds like we had the same idea— I was looking to find more firewood and maybe even gather some more food to bring back.

Like... berries? How do you know what is edible, out here?

[ she was considering it, too, but discarded the idea as she didn't want to accidentally poison herself or anyone else. ]

Yeah, like berries. [she smiles slightly] I'm not sure if the berries around here are what I'd be familiar with but I've read up on the different kinds to know what would be edible or not.

I figured it'd be a worth checking out at least.

That seems very useful... you must have had to do that, before. To have survived.

[ on the planet she was sent to, before. ] Would you look with me? I cannot hunt, but I can pick berries.

Yeah, we did have to do that quite a bit back home. [it was something she got better at with practice much like hunting and scavenging for any other food they could find so hopefully there won't be too much of a difference with the berries they find here]

Of course we can look for them together— I can show you how to tell them apart too depending on what we find.

I would like that. [ to learn, because they do need to eat, while traveling to Olympia — and she is no use when it comes to hunting. ]
