[ Good morning Sansa, there is a woefully bright god in your inbox today. His usual cheerfulness is toned down to a more somber smile because circumstances call for it, but he seems happy enough to be here for this conversation anyway. ]
I have something for you, if it's okay. I made it for your sister but since she went home, I thought she might like you to have it instead. I'm pretty sure she might, at least. Hopefully.
[ she's not interacted with honir much, but she knows him, not least because arya was a part of his house; more so, she also heard of him from lalli, and came to the conclusion he is... if a little too cheerful, at least well-meaning.
hence why she listens to him with none of the animosity she'd shown odin before, a sad smile appearing on her lips as he speaks of arya. ]
I would like to think so. [ she and arya had not always been the best of friends, but they'd parted on good terms, and in winterfell she felt they had an understanding and a loyalty she'd not felt as children. ]
And I would like to have whatever it is you've made her, my lord. [ see, a proper form of address and all! ]
[ He doesn't quite sigh, but it seems like some kind of relief washes over him as Sansa agrees Arya might be okay with this. She was one of his own, after all, so he wants to get it right for them both. ]
Can I come to you? Or do you want to come here? Or I suppose I could send it to you instead.
[ But he says the last with the slightest crinkle of his nose, like a vague distaste for the easiest option among them. ]
Find a private spot, it's easier with voice than writing.
[ Soon enough, she'll appear on screen as she switches her own display to video. But it won't be until Sansa appears that she speaks. ]
Daenerys is fine. [ A pointed look. She would have them speak as equals on both the matters she's to mention. ] I assume you saw Odin's message about the dead. I'll be traveling beyond the city with the others — but it's the dead which prompts me now to speak with you frankly.
The men in our lives here are the sort I would call heroes. [ And heroes, as she'd told Tyrion, do stupid things and die for them. She'd already called Jon one, but that makes Robb no less of one. Jaime isn't a hero in her eyes, though he's the same recklessness to him she attributes to both Jon and Robb. Theon... well, he's a foolish thing. ] Which leaves you and I. We've both survived and thrived. I won't pretend to know of the things you've faced, but I know you conquered them.
I've always believed fire is power, but in this place, knowledge is more so.
[ she does as instructed, and to the reprimand, she offers a sheepish smile and a nod, before her expression turns more serious. ]
I did. [ her brow furrows when daenerys mentions that she'll be leaving the city, too; she'd not planned to, but if everyone close to her is going... gods, but she hates being left behind.
instead of voicing that, or her concerns, she listens quietly, nodding when daenerys speaks of heroes, smiling wryly when she speaks of what they've faced and still lived. ]
If by heroes, you mean that they have the tendency to run headlong into almost certain death, I agree. [ then, ] Perhaps one day we will have the time to speak of the things we've faced and conquered. It has not been any easier for you, I believe.
[ she sighs. ] Knowledge is always power, especially when there is no other power to be had.
[ Sansa might not voice it, but Dany catches the look she makes. Something to address after. ]
That's exactly what I mean. Can't mock them for it, they're brave, even if that bravery makes them recklessly stupid, sometimes. [ Tyrion didn't understand that, but Sansa does. It's enough for her to huff a quiet laugh. Leave it for another woman to understand. ] I'd like to share our stories, and to learn more about you.
[ This, at least, gives her hope that meeting Sansa at Winterfell for the very same war will go well. That their people will flourish around one another versus more of the same distrust that Cersei's words created.
That sigh, though, makes her think this particular reminder of home may not be the most welcome. For what reason, she cannot guess. ]
It's why I think you and I should set out to obtain it, after the dead are dealt with here. [ No dragons or armies means this battle will be difficult, but she's not convinced this will be her end. ] Odin mentioned the lands around us, and how our world's magic is a descendant of this one's. It's been some time since either of us have been told by others what we can or cannot do. I don't intend to allow it to continue.
[note/package] a dew days before the funeral/thanksgiving event
[ On a unremarkable day, Sansa will find a neatly wrapped package (the paper brown and simple) sitting on her bed. Inside it is a note and a light grey-colored dress, with stitchings along the sleeves, neckline, and shoulders to represent House Stark, be it with a direwolf, or beads and threading to represent the fur of one. The note reads: ]
Lady Sansa —
From what Jon's told me, you are more than capable of providing for yourself. Still, with the days following the war, I find myself with too much time to spare and a restless mind. If the dress is to your liking, please stop by my cottage in Sigyn's district should it require proper fitting. I imagine it will — you're much taller than I.

Lady Stark-- If you have a spare moment in the coming days, there is something important that I would like to discuss with you.
Please let me know if you can make yourself available.
